Sven Nykvist (1922-2006)
Sad day for lovers of light, with the passing of one of the world’s greatest ever cinematographers, Sven Nykvist. Best known for his groundbreaking work in both black and white and color with Ingmar Bergman, Nykvist also worked with Woody Allen and Andrei Tarkovsky.
